Clip ‘n Climb Saskatoon is a family-owned business that mixes climbing and obstacle course elements. Our goal is to provide Saskatchewan with a fun, healthy activity that is accessible to everyone, no matter your age or fitness level. Thanks to our top-of-the-line TruBlue auto-belays and revolutionary BelayMate system, adults and children alike can climb safely. No previous experience or training is needed!
Our walls are bright and colourful and in order for them to stay that way, cleanliness is and has always been one of our top priorities (right after safety!). To keep everyone healthy and having fun, our entire facility is deep cleaned regularly, and our walls are sanitized multiple times a day – yes, all the way to the top! It’s a lot of work but it is worth it. You will often see us cleaning the walls while you are here to climb.
Beyond our normally stringent cleaning schedule, we have implemented several new guidelines:
-
If you are sick or have had contact with anyone exhibiting symptoms of and diagnosed with COVID-19, refrain from entering the building.
-
We encourage all participants to register online ahead of time. We are now accepting walk-ins, please keep in mind that we have set start times as well as a limited arena capacity. We recommend you contact us ahead of your visit to check availability.
-
If you arrive ahead of your climb time, do NOT enter the building. Please wait in your vehicle until your climb time is announced. As per governmental recommendations, we recommend that only climbers (and one chaperone, if needed) come into the building. If spectators must attend, we ask for no more than 1 spectator per climber.
-
Physical distancing should be observed within the building at all times. As per government regulations, Masks are required unless you are eating.
-
All climbers must wash their hands before and after climbing. Hand sanitizer will be available as needed.
-
Everyone entering the climbing area (black floor) will be required to walk across our foot bath to disinfect their shoe soles.
-
Instructors will remind patrons of the physical distancing rules as mandated by the provincial government.
-
Anyone who conducts themselves in an unsafe manner, does not comply with our instructors’ directives, or shows signs of illness, will be asked to leave.
-
At this time, we are unable to lend out shoes (subject to availability). As always, we ask that you bring your own indoor closed-toed shoes to be able to climb.
-
Our water fountain is closed in compliance with governmental regulations, but our water bottle filling station remains open. Please remember to bring your own water bottle.
